2012.

This past year has been one of discovery for me.  From managing a single income household (and being ok!) to learning the fine art of creating the perfect roux, it's been a year packed with new experiences.  Having left my retail job far behind, I've filled my days with writing, reading, cooking (and eating), catching up on relationships, travelling, home restoration, gardening and exploring.  I realize that I am a very lucky girl to be doing all these things-- I have not, for one moment, taken any of it for granted.  It may not be permanent, but for the time being, I'm living pretty darn well and I feel extremely blessed going into this New Year.
